Narrows Brewing is built for the view — the taproom sits right on the water at the south end of Tacoma with a commanding sightline to the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, and the walls inside are covered in photos and memorabilia about the bridge's 1940 collapse. They run 14 rotating taps leaning toward hazy IPAs and fruit-forward ales, trivia every Thursday at 7pm, and the outdoor deck gets cold fast once the sun drops behind the hillside. Boaters can tie up at the guest moorage for a three-hour session, which makes this a regular destination for the JBLM crowd coming down by water on weekends.
